Crafted from low-vigour vines on the Black Sage Bench, the 2021 Black Rook Merlot reflects meticulous attention to site and technique. Wild fermented with extended skin contact, this Merlot is a study in precision and purity.
Lifted notes of violet, aniseed, and raspberry lead into a lively, concentrated palate with structured tannins and a saline finish. Only 9 barrels crafted.
