2014 Capture Chardonnay

The natural fermentation contributes a lifted, aromatic, complex nose. The palate opens with spice and creamy stone fruits yet remains delicate with a long finish.

Border Vista Vineyard

This single parcel, planted in 1997 to Dijon clonal material, is a mere ten metres from the BC-Washington border on the east side of Osoyoos Lake.

The vineyard, with Anarchist Mountain towering above it to the east, has a slight undulations characteristics of what was once the floor of a large glacial lake.

Begins with floral and citrus aromas. It is quite expressive on the palate, with apple and citrus flavours mingled subtly with oak. It lingers elegantly on the palate.

94 Points, John Schreiner

Capture appears to have two faces. One that is fresh and mineral upon release but with time in the bottle it builds up more tropical fruit and weight in the mouth.

91 Points, Anthony Gismondi
