"This Chardonnay draws fruit from five vineyards – two on Black Sage Bench, one on Osoyoos East Bench and two on the Golden Mile Bench. Eighty per cent was aged in Burgundy barriques and 20% in concrete. The wine begins with aromas of citrus fruits, caramel and coconut. The texture is full. The flavours are complex, with herbal and citrus notes and hints of wet stone and sea salt on the finish."

"It remains the most complex of the releases, right out of the gate. It was a cooker of vintage heat-wise, but clearly, McGahan made all the right decisions to maintain the brightness and freshness here while putting together a compelling chardonnay, at least on the mid-palate, that lingers with finesse and even an edgy acidity in the end. The ’15 has the peach perfumed undertones but its the minerality and stony, salty notes in the back end that carry the wine to a higher level. Just a baby but should age well through 2020."

"A multi-vineyard blend, this uses both barrel and concrete egg ferments. It's textured and complex, with lightly buttery apple fruit, a whiff of toast and salty minerality. It was aged for 16 months, and roughly half of the barrels used were new."
