"This wine is intense because the very long and even 2014 vintage also delivered good ripeness. The wine begins with aromas of dark fruits leading to flavours of black cherry, mocha and coffee, with spice on the finish."

"Significantly riper than the 2013, this is dense with flavors of black olive, black fruits, dark chocolate and cherry tobacco. The tannins seem huge for Merlot, as is the case with all of the winery's 2014s, but given the region's standard flavor profile, these tannins are fully ripened and well matched to the 100% new French oak, contributing to lingering, trailing accents of espresso and smoke."
